Anuj is a Private Wealth Advisor with Lake Street. He brings over 20 years of experience in the asset management business. Anuj began his career at Van Kampen Investments (a Morgan Stanley company) in 2001, quickly rising to Vice President before being recruited in 2006 to run the Midwest Division of Cohen & Steers Capital Management, a publicly traded niche asset manager. In 2010, he joined Incapital (a Goldman Sachs company) to drive the build out of their Advisory Services group. Most recently, he was a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors for 8 years.
Anuj attended The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, a perennial top 10 business school, graduating with a B.A. in Finance and a minor in Sociology. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations. Away from the office Anuj enjoys Chicago’s lively culinary scene, traveling – mostly to explore other lively culinary scenes, Orange Theory Fitness classes – working off his indulgences at said culinary scenes, entrepreneurial endeavors, spending time with his family, and philanthropy. He is a board member of The Bond Club of Chicago, a committee member of Concern Worldwide (humanitarian aid), a committee member of Friends for the Cure (a diabetes focused charity), and a member of the Securities Traders Association of Chicago.
