Don brings more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, assisting families across the country with all aspects of their financial lives. He began his career in public accounting with a focus in taxation. Don then transitioned to private banking, a move that enhanced his knowledge of capital markets and the investment landscape.
After 15 years with Rothschild Investments, Don founded Elarin Wealth Advisors in 2017, an independent affiliate of Lake Street, to further broaden his skill set and increase the product offerings for his clients. Don’s areas of focus include wealth accumulation, estate planning, retirement planning, college savings programs and gifting strategies.
Don earned dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting from Illinois State University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. An active member in the Chicago community, he serves as Treasurer of the Friends of A.N. Pritzker School.
