Brian brings more than two decades of industry experience assisting ultra-high net worth clients pursue their goals. He has deep knowledge in investments, wealth accumulation strategy, complex estate planning, intergenerational wealth transfer, but most importantly, wealth preservation. He enjoys helping clients gain financial clarity and advocates for a detailed financial plan, never letting them lose sight of the end goal, no matter what issues may arise during their lifetime. Maintaining this discipline has been especially important during times of market distress, such as the tech bubble, the great recession, and most recently, the Covid-19 pandemic. Engaging with a responsive and thoughtful attitude, clients know they can always turn to him for financial matters large or small.
Brian joins Lake Street as a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor. Operating now as a pure fiduciary, he utilizes an open architecture platform and credentialed team to better serve his clients. Before joining Lake Street, he spent 13 years with JPMorgan Chase, where he was a founding member of the Chase Private Client group. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President of Investments for 2 years with Raymond James and Associates.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University. He knew from a young age that he wanted to become a financial advisor after learning firsthand what can happen when you don’t have a thorough financial plan in place for your family. Now in his 40s, he has spent nearly half of his life in an advisor role, counseling 100s of sophisticated investors across the country. A Chicago native, Brian lives in Northcenter with his wife, Rebecca; they have 2 sons, Austin & Brooks. In his spare time, you’ll find him cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams the Bears, Bulls, Cubs and Hawks; and of course, working to improve his golf game!
